Dr. Dale Bredesen is a pioneer in the the research into Alzheimer's disease prevention, memory-loss disease prevention and memory-loss reversal.  Alzheimer's Disease has many causes and begins decades before symptoms begin.  With the help of modern testing and a Bredesen trained practitioner, emerging Alzheimer's subtypes can be identified and personalized support to prevent cognitive decline can be done.

The Bredesen Protocol is based on over three decades of Dr. Bredesen’s laboratory research, resulting in hundreds of peer-reviewed publications that have uncovered the biochemical mechanisms behind the erosion of memory associated with Alzheimer’s disease. The Bredesen Protocol offered through PreCODE (for prevention) and ReCODE (for reversal) has opened the door to new approaches to prevent and treat Alzheimer’s disease.

The Bredesen protocol uses a multi-faceted approach to preventing and reversing Alzheimer's disease and includes identifying genetic risk factors, using nutrition to treat and prevent inflammation and support brain health, identifies hormone and nutrient depletions, addresses inflammation in the body, identifies potential pathogens and toxin exposure and looks into sleep-related disorders which are known to greatly affect brain health.

The 3 most common types of Alzheimer's are:
  1. Type 1 - Inflammatory

Elevated blood sugar and insulin levels are often a major driver of this sub-type resulting in ongoing inflammation that increases your risk of developing Alzheimer's.

  2. Type 2 - Atrophic

When your body lacks the necessary support to maintain neural connections such as nutrients, hormones or nerve growth factor, this leads to the development of Alzheimer's.

  3. Type 3 - Toxic

In today's society we are exposed to a number of toxins including metals, molds and others through household and personal care products.  The combination of exposure as well as impaired ability to excrete toxins can lead to this type of Alzheimer's.
