Food Sensitivity Testing
Page Title

Food allergies and food intolerances are not the same. Food allergies are immediate reactions such as skin rash, itching, nausea or anaphylaxis caused by food ingestion such as a peanut allergy. Food intolerances, also known as sensitivities, are delayed reactions and occur 2-3 days after ingestion, thus making them difficult to pinpoint.
Many people suffer from sensitivities unknowingly due to the delayed nature of the reaction. Symptoms of food sensitivities vary widely and may include nausea, stomach pain, gas, cramps, bloating, heartburn, diarrhea, painful menses, acne, psoriasis, itchy eyes, headaches, irritability, nervousness, allergies, sinus congestion, trouble concentrating, trouble sleeping, tingling and numbness in extremities, bad breath, and joint pain. These symptoms are not normal and should not be part of your everyday life. Food sensitivity reactions when built up over time lead to the deterioration of a healthy intestinal lining and results in inflammatory reactions in the body.
KBMO offers the most sensitive test in the market. The test offers a patented technology to measure both non-specific and specific immune responses, which is unique to other tests on the market. Additionally the test includes a gut barrier panel which gives insight into into potential dysbiosis, gut permeability and damage to the cells lining the gut and need for treatment. I suggest this test because no other test on the market looks at all three key factors (non-specific and specific immune responses and gut barrier function) and provides a much clearer picture of what's going on in the body.
