What markers are test and why it's important

Lipids – Assessing Cholesterol and Particle Health

• Total Cholesterol (TC): Measures all cholesterol in your blood; high levels may signal risk, but context matters.

• Triglycerides (TG): Elevated levels can disrupt lipid metabolism and raise cardiovascular risk.

• LDL Cholesterol (LDL-C): Known as “bad” cholesterol, LDL carries cholesterol to tissues and can contribute to plaque buildup.

This service includes two separate payments:

1. The cost of the test kit – $200
   The lab panel is performed using an at-home blood spot collection.  Payment for the test kit is made directly to the lab company.  The kit includes instructions for completing your test and sending your sample for analysis.  ​Here is a link to a sample report.  

2. 30-Minute Virtual Consultation – $175
   Once your results are ready, we’ll schedule a virtual consultation to review your results and discuss a personalized health plan.

   • The consultation cost is $175, billed separately.

   • Your individualized plan may include dietary guidance, lifestyle strategies, and targeted supplement recommendations based on your unique markers.
