Nutrients provide energy for the body, contribute to body structure and/or regulate chemical processes in the body.  These functions allow the body to detect and respond to environmental surroundings, move, excrete waste, breathe, grow and reproduce.  Nutrients are the fuel for our bodies much like a vehicle needing proper gasoline. 
 
In today's world, our soils are devoid of nutrients that once existed.  Additionally, the Standard American Diet lacks many of the nutrients needed for proper bodily function and often is filled with toxins which can lead to even more disfunction.  Moreover, many commonly prescribed medications lead to drug-induced nutrient depletions in the body.  Some signs of nutrient depletions include muscle cramps, tiredness, constipation, hair loss, tingling in the hands and feet, numbness, fatigue, irregular heartbeat and mood changes.  

The goal of this program is to utilize a test which draws a saliva and blood sample to determine nutrient deficiencies.  In addition to the test results, I will also review all of your prescriptions and supplements to determine if there are any drug-nutrient depletions or interactions.  We will then work together to create a treatment plan to reach optimal health.  

This program includes two visits.  The first visit is an initial consultation in which we will go over intake forms, applicable health history, medications and applicable lifestyle factors.  The followup visit will include reviewing test data as well as your individualized treatment plan.
